Roundabout’s #ChristmasCracker

As we count down to Christmas Day, Roundabout, Sutton based charity, is sharing a donated daily joke, alongside our appeal message. Today’s joke has been donated by the brilliant Jo Brand, which you can enjoy, alongside our other  #ChristmasCrackers here. The jokes are being shared via our YouTube channel and Instagram account.
Roundabout’s mission is to help children, young people and adults who are traumatised, anxious or experiencing poor mental health. Our team of dramatherapists use drama, storytelling and play to create a safe place and help them turn their lives around. We work in many schools across Sutton and Croydon as well as other boroughs in London and Surrey
In 2025 we ran over 90 projects, an increase of over 25% from 2024, working with more than 500 individuals.
One of our older clients recently reflected, ‘I love this group and talk to my sister about it all the time. Every care home should have it’.
This year, as well as facilitating such an extraordinary amount of work, we celebrated our 40 years, whilst navigating the retirement of Lynn Cedar, one of Roundabout’s co-founders and CEO. Deborah Haythorne, continues in post as CEO, working with Adam Atlasi, who is our new Deputy CEO.
We have launched this festive fundraiser to help us continue supporting clients in 2026.
